About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of software developers and providing technical leadership to ensure the development of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of software developers in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintain coding standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software development and architecture.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables while maintaining high standards of quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and management.
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of software developers.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and software architecture principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Python, JavaScript, and React.
  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
