About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) to join our Worldwide Public Sector team. This position requires 25% - 40% travel dependent on geo and time of year. The candidate must be a US Citizen and possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Working with organizations in all stages of their cloud adoption, guiding customers through the value realization, enablement, and governance of their cloud transformation journey.
  • Identifying and accelerating the customer’s realization of value throughout the cloud lifecycle through the adoption of AWS services, AWS partner solutions, AWS best practices, and other.
  • Helping customers achieve organizational cloud readiness, cloud fluency and cloud skills through skills guilds, experience-based accelerators, training partners, and other.
  • Establishing and maturing operating models / structures to drive scale and long-term success through the application of AWS frameworks and mechanisms.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion experience.
  • 2+ years of customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business or equivalent.
  • Experience leading technical and non-technical transformation project teams with a proven ability to work across broad functional teams.
  • A current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.

Preferred Qualifications: PMP certification, or SCRUM/Agile, SAFe certification; Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or similar.
