Responsibilities
- Aiding in register opening and closing procedures, conducting cash handling audits, and performing end of shift drawer counts.
- Assisting with managing customer purchases, returns, exchanges, store credits, and discounted transactions while ensuring proper cash and negotiable document security.
- Implementing suggestive selling techniques during customer interactions and addressing customer inquiries and needs.
- Participating in restocking merchandise, maintaining store layout, cleaning, and ensuring the upkeep of floor stock and fitting room areas.
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of products, point of sale (POS) instructions, merchandise promotions, and advertisements.
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently bend, squat, and twist, lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and discern fabric patterns and colors.
Qualifications
Desire to learn and adapt to new programs, and the ability to work effectively with associates at all levels to foster a positive work environment.
Skills
Customer service skills, including the ability to provide a world-class customer experience and engage in suggestive selling techniques.
