Senior Customer Onboarding Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Customer Onboarding Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will own the technical onboarding experience for new customers, helping ensure deployments are implemented smoothly and reach production readiness. You will partner closely with customers and internal teams to troubleshoot issues, remove blockers, and accelerate successful adoption. The position is highly hands-on, with a strong focus on Linux-based environments, cloud infrastructure, containers, and networking. Success in this role will be measured by the quality, speed, and reliability of customer implementations. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $126,000 – $140,000 annually Responsibilities Lead the customer onboarding process and kickoff meetings Project-manage the 30-day onboarding timeline and track blockers Provide deployment best practices and optimize customer environments Diagnose and resolve implementation failures across cloud and networking Conduct root-cause analysis on integration issues to prevent recurrence Configure systems in Linux production environments and manage containers Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address implementation challenges Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in technical support or cloud operations, preferably in large-scale environments Strong Linux administration skills, including troubleshooting and performance tuning Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, particularly in a production environment Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and IaC tools In-depth networking knowledge, including TCP/IP and firewalls Basic scripting ability in Bash, Python, or PowerShell Benefits Inclusive culture that values diversity Opportunities for career development and advancement Collaborative work environment that fosters innovation Flexibility with remote and hybrid work options Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance for employees and their families Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
