Senior CT Technologist - Full Time

About the role

Utilize computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Provide efficient clinical care with strong technical, organizational, and critical thinking skills. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care across all age groups, from adolescents to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist analysis.
• Operate PACS and teleradiology systems to accurately transfer images.
• Ensure department compliance with accreditation standards (JCAHO, ACR, state licensures).
• Manage daily patient workload, scheduling staff coverage for vacations and sick days.
• Lead accreditation processes and maintain necessary certifications.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R).
• Radiologic Tech licensure in the practice state.
• Advanced CT certification preferred in some locations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Venipuncture certification required; fluoroscopy license and IV certification preferred.
