Senior Credit Analyst / Underwriter

About the role

This role offers exposure to large, complex commercial credits, working on larger, more sophisticated deals and relationships. It provides direct exposure to the loan committee and senior leadership, with an emphasis on credit quality rather than production pressure.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and analyze complex C&I and CRE credits
• Work on larger, more sophisticated deals and relationships
• Focus on cash flow analysis, risk assessment, and structuring
• Prepare and present credit memos and loan recommendations
• Directly participate in loan committee discussions and senior leadership meetings
• Mentor junior analysts and review their work
• Collaborate with lenders and credit leadership to ensure high-visibility and impactful decision-making

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in credit analysis and underwriting
• Comfortable with loans ranging from $6MM and up

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with a focus on cash flow and risk assessment
• Experience with structured finance and CRE lending
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
