About the role
NVIDIA’s HPC Compiler Team seeks a Compiler Developer to join a pioneering team building one of the world's most important optimizing compilers. The role offers a front-row seat to groundbreaking compiler development in high-performance computing, supporting real-world scientific applications.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing new features for high-performance CPUs and GPUs
- Working with application teams to address complex compilation challenges
- Collaborating with team members on high-performance computing and optimization projects
- Interacting with open-source communities on relevant projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of experience developing production-quality compilers or tools
- Proven understanding of compiler internals, front-ends, and optimizers
- Strong knowledge of programming fundamentals, particularly in C/C++
- Deep understanding of parallel computer architectures and optimizations
Qualifications
- Experience with the EDG compiler front-end or LLVM is a plus
- Familiarity with C++, OpenMP, and OpenACC standards
- A strong passion for compiler development
- Highly motivated with excellent problem-solving skills
Benefits
Base salary range: $184,000 - $287,500 USD. Eligible for equity and benefits. Applications accepted until July 17, 2026.
