Responsibilities
- Maintain the Warrant Tracker Log
- Assisting with the EzWarrant Search
- Processing Warrants
- Assisting with Certified Copies
- Monitoring Queues and Processing When Needed
- Scheduling Block Calendars/Caps for the Department
- Training/Supervision of Temporary Employees
- Assistance on Expungements
- Assistance on Changes of Judge
- Duties as Assigned
Technical Duties
- Case Processing: Receiving and Initiating Case Files
- Reviewing Judgments, Preparing Warrants, Summonses, Garnishments, Executions, Bond Settings, and Docket Control
- Legal Document Review: Determining Processing Required and Taking Necessary Action
- Accounting Duties: Receiving and Disbursing Monies, Reconciling Financial Accounts, and Preparing Reports
- Customer Assistance: Providing Information and Customer Assistance via Various Mediums
- Document Preparation: Preparing Documents Related to Court Operations
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in a related field or at least 60 semester hours from an institution of higher learning and two years of varied administrative experience performing a wide range of technical office duties.
- Advanced Knowledge: Court Procedures and Policies, Legal Documents, Laws, and Legal Factors Pertaining to the Court.
- Organizational Knowledge: Organization Operations, Functions, and Scope of Authority of the Court.
- Independent Judgment: Ability to Work Independently and Manage Time Effectively While Handling a High-Volume Workload.
- Decision Making: Ability to Exercise Good Judgment and Make Independent Decisions in Accordance with General Policy and Objectives.
- Record Keeping: Ability to Maintain a Variety of Complex Records and Prepare Reports from an Automated System.
