About the role

The Senior Course Coordinator – Statistics supports the implementation of the OnRamps Statistics course and provides instructional and professional development services to instructors, students, and faculty.

Responsibilities

  • Provides 1:1 support to OnRamps instructors to ensure fidelity of implementation and teacher growth.
  • Develops and implements professional learning institutes for OnRamps instructors.
  • Cultivates and leads a network of OnRamps instructors through professional development activities.
  • Maintains systems to monitor curriculum implementation and provide feedback to students.
  • Communicates with internal and external stakeholders to support the OnRamps mission.
  • Supports designated special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or closely related field meeting Instructor of Record requirements.
  • Five years teaching experience at a high school or college level.
  • Proficiency in Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) or another LMS.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated understanding of high school teaching and learning in Statistics courses.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or closely related field preferred.
  • Two years teaching experience preferred.
  • Experience with data-driven decision making and project management.
  • Experience with online professional learning communities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex statistical concepts to non-experts.
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

$70,000 + depending on qualifications
