About the role

The Senior Counsel, Workers’ Compensation is responsible for providing legal advice and support to clients regarding workers' compensation claims and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal guidance on workers' compensation laws and regulations
  • Review and analyze workers' compensation claims
  • Prepare and review legal documents related to workers' compensation cases
  • Represent clients in workers' compensation hearings and litigation
  • Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations

Requirements

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to practice law in at least one state
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience
  • Experience in workers' compensation law is preferred

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

  • Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
  • Experience with legal research and document preparation
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
