About the role

The Senior Counsel, Workers’ Compensation is responsible for providing legal advice and support to clients regarding workers' compensation claims and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal guidance on workers' compensation laws and regulations.
  • Review and analyze workers' compensation claims to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Represent clients in workers' compensation hearings and negotiations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risk associated with workers' compensation claims.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of workers' compensation policies.

Requirements

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in workers' compensation law.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Admitted to practice law in at least one state.
  • Experience working with insurance companies and employers.
  • Familiarity with relevant state and federal workers' compensation laws.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in legal research and analysis.
  • Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
