About the role
The Senior Counsel, Workers’ Compensation is responsible for providing legal advice and support to clients regarding workers' compensation claims and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance on workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- Review and analyze workers' compensation claims to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Represent clients in workers' compensation hearings and negotiations.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risk associated with workers' compensation claims.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of workers' compensation policies.
Requirements
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in workers' compensation law.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Admitted to practice law in at least one state.
- Experience working with insurance companies and employers.
- Familiarity with relevant state and federal workers' compensation laws.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- Proficient in legal research and analysis.
- Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
