Senior Counsel - Real Estate

About the role

Leading AI/Infrastructure company is looking to hire a Senior Real Estate Counsel to join its growing legal team! In this role you'll be tasked with structuring, drafting, and negotiating the full range of real estate transactions behind a nation-wide data center buildout (purchase/sale agreements, build-to-suit and ground leases, real estate financing, etc). Role can be based in NYC, San Fran, or Seattle, and is a hybrid opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and negotiate the full range of real estate transactions behind data center buildout
• Handle real estate financing, tax incentives, title review/insurance, zoning, land use
• Build foundation for scale across RE form agreements
• Run complex negotiations
• Manage outside counsel
• Lead transactions cross-functionally with site selection, development, finance, and delivery teams

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in relevant jurisdiction
• Experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial agreements
• Extensive real estate/data center experience
