Senior Counsel, Product

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations, strengthening responsible execution, improving decision-making, and supporting sustainable growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Own legal advisory for stablecoin and crypto product teams throughout the product lifecycle
• Advise on U.S. and international regulatory requirements, including money transmission laws and securities regulations
• Identify and resolve novel legal issues, collaborating with internal and external counsel
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance and other departments to support product launches
• Shape approaches to emerging regulatory frameworks for product design and compliance
• Build scalable legal processes to enhance product teams' operational efficiency

Qualifications

• J.D. with 7+ years of legal experience and active U.S. state bar membership
• Meaningful experience advising product teams on tech product launches in fintech, crypto/blockchain, or consumer tech settings, preferably in-house
• In-depth understanding of U.S. and global payments regulations and their application in crypto
• Proven ability to provide risk-adjusted legal guidance in ambiguous regulatory environments
• Experience driving legal initiatives independently within cross-functional teams

Pay

$224,995 – $264,700 annually
