Senior Counsel - Privacy, Cybersecurity and AI

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage complex privacy, cybersecurity, and AI legal issues
  • Advise stakeholders on translating legal obligations into actionable strategies
  • Collaborate on global AI governance initiatives and compliance review
  • Support core privacy operations including assessments and risk management
  • Draft and negotiate privacy-related legal agreements
  • Design scalable privacy and AI compliance frameworks
  • Identify training needs and deliver training across the organization
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and manage regulatory inquiries

Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school or equivalent legal experience
  • Licensed to practice law in the U.S
  • 5 years of global privacy legal experience, preferably in financial services
  • 2 years of AI governance experience, advising on AI regulations
  • Deep expertise in global privacy, cybersecurity, and AI regulatory frameworks
  • Strong technical fluency related to AI, data, and cybersecurity
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for diverse audiences
  • Experience driving change through influence, not authority

Pay

$165,000 – $195,000 annually
