Senior Counsel-Labor and Employment

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute litigation strategy for complex employment disputes
• Oversee and collaborate with outside counsel for staffing and case strategy
• Lead and conduct internal investigations regarding workplace issues
• Draft and review employment-related agreements, policies, and training materials
• Serve as a primary legal advisor to HR and business leadership
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices
• Provide daily guidance on employee relations and performance management

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• 7+ years of dedicated Labor & Employment law experience in both law firm and in-house settings
• Active membership in a state bar association
• Strong business judgment and negotiation capabilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a complex organization
• Passion for improving consumer experiences

Pay

$168,000 – $231,000 annually
