Senior Counsel, Employment

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Counsel, Employment to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will serve as a trusted legal partner on employment matters that shape how the business hires, manages, and supports its workforce. The attorney will provide practical, risk-aware guidance across a multi-jurisdictional environment while helping business leaders navigate day-to-day people decisions and workplace challenges. This position also plays an important role in drafting policies, managing investigations and claims, and supporting legal initiatives that align with broader organizational priorities. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $175,000 – $241,000 annually Responsibilities Advise on employment matters, including hiring, performance management, and separations Provide compliance guidance on employment laws across multiple jurisdictions Draft and review legal documents, including policies and training materials Collaborate with stakeholders to create compliant workforce strategies Manage employment-related claims and investigations effectively Monitor legal developments and recommend necessary policy updates Support organization-wide legal projects aligned with strategic business priorities Qualifications J.D. with an active license in at least one U.S. state 10+ years of employment law experience in both law firm and in-house settings Extensive knowledge of employment law, including employee relations and workplace investigations Experience supporting a multi-jurisdictional workforce, preferably in the technology sector Strong drafting skills for employment agreements and policies Ability to provide risk-calibrated legal advice while supporting business goals Interest in integrating AI tools into legal practice Benefits Health, pharmacy, optical, and dental care benefits Paid time off and sick leave Short-term and long-term disability coverage Life insurance coverage 401(k) contributions subject to eligibility Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
