Senior Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Counsel to join our Bridgewater, NJ based team. The position offers the chance to handle a variety of legal matters, advise on compliance, and support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, analyze, structure, and negotiate manufacturing, packaging, development, purchase, supply, license, and service agreements
• Advising and providing training to business unit personnel on compliance policies, customer and vendor relations, contract matters, and regulatory issues
• Aiding in merger and acquisition activities
• Resolving customer disputes and claims, supporting litigation, and directing outside counsel in dispute and litigation matters
• Offering guidance to achieve business objectives in compliance with laws and regulations while avoiding unacceptable risks
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Minimum of three years of transactional or commercial law experience with a combination of large law firms and/or in-house pharmaceutical experience
• Ability to practice as an in-house lawyer in New Jersey

Preferred Skills & Background

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• The ability to synthesize complex legal issues into essential elements for clients across the organization with different goals and responsibilities

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position in NJ is $136,000 – $210,000 plus bonus. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc.
