Senior Cost/Schedule Analyst
Plan, Prepare and Analyze Financial Data
Develop and maintain integrated master schedule using critical-path-method (CPM) scheduling techniques. This activity includes working with Control-Account-Managers (CAMs) to provide monthly status updates and percentage completion assessments.
Compile and analyze cost and progress data in accordance with the estimate-at-completion process to establish cost and schedule indices/variances.
Calculate and document variance-at-completion.
Monitor and maintain status of actual cost incurred on assigned projects, as well as interpret data and provide corrective action recommendations for management review.
Analyze cost data for discrepancies from budget, notifies management and assists in development/implementation of corrective measures when necessary.
Prepare Cost Proposals
Plan and prepare compliant cost proposals in accordance with FAR 15.4, and provide support during proposal audit and negotiations.
Maintain FAR Compliant Pricing System
Maintain FAR compliant pricing system for current rates and adherence to estimating and pricing guidelines.
Recommendations for Procedural Improvements
Make recommendations for procedural improvements to increase operational efficiency for the project controls job function.
Communication and Teamwork
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Education and Experience
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field, or an equivalent amount of education and experience.
Experience Requirement: Minimum of six to eight years of financial analysis experience; background in project management or project controls preferred.
Pay and Benefits
In compliance with state and local laws, the salary range for this role is $95,000 - $115,000.
The range provided is a general guideline and good faith estimate representative of all experience levels but is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
