Senior Cost Analyst

Skills

• Apply technical skills to monitor, analyze, and report project cost performance.
• Develop budget and cost metrics for engineering, procurement, and construction scopes of work.
• Interface with project management, client management, and site personnel.
• Implement project controls tools and methodology.
• Support month-end closing and phase gate processes.
• Establish project original and approved budgets.
• Develop project forecasts and adjust them directly with Project Managers.
• Monitor and analyze actual project costs, calculate variances, and document explanations.
• Assemble supporting documentation to meet project team and client requests.
• Analyze data and build reports for project monitoring and decision-making.
• Interface regularly with project management to support monitoring cost performance.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with practical application of project controls.
• 5 or more years of project experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Eager to learn new skills and develop knowledge.
• Motivated to engage with others to understand project team needs.
• Committed to delivering high-quality, accurate deliverables with attention to detail.
• Working knowledge in MS Office tools, with emphasis on advanced use of MS Excel and/or PowerBI.
• Working knowledge in SAP.
