Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of processes, tools, standards, and key performance indicators that improve equipment reliability, production efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Lead asset criticality management by determining asset criticality and guiding sites to utilize and maintain SAP rankings.
- Drive asset risk management by identifying high-risk assets and recommending or leading risk elimination or mitigation plans.
- Establish robust equipment failure root cause analysis capabilities through training, coaching, and facilitation.
- Analyze equipment and cost data to manage Reliability Engineering efforts that deliver measurable value.
- Apply PM Evaluation (PME) and PM Optimization (PMO) processes to continuously improve preventive maintenance effectiveness and efficiency.
- Utilize Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) processes and standards, including training and leading RCM analysis.
- Perform Weibull analysis to understand equipment reliability and develop maintenance strategies.
- Monitor progress of Reliability Engineering initiatives and provide periodic updates.
- Stay current with industry trends and benchmarks, recommending and leading program improvements.
- Develop and maintain strong SAP Plant Maintenance skills, monitor data integrity, and lead improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to apply “design for reliability” standards during capital expenditure projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience in Reliability Engineering, Maintenance, or Engineering roles, preferably in food, beverage, or CPG
- Previous experience implementing Reliability Engineering processes
- Proven track record of establishing Reliability Engineering capabilities
- Experience managing projects
- Weibull experience a plus and other statistical analysis methods
- Excel - Intermediate experience
- Experience with CMMS systems; SAP Plant Maintenance preferred
- Skilled in assessing and prioritizing improvement efforts based on losses
