Senior Corporate Counsel - Employment
Key Responsibilities
- Review and advise with respect to claims and enforcement of employment agreements and restrictive covenants, compensation documents, severance plans, and applicable procedures.
- Aid in the periodic review and update of onboarding documents for new employees, including offer letters, employment agreements, confidentiality agreements, etc.
- Aid in the periodic review of employee benefit plan documents and other benefit contracts as needed.
- Advises HR team on matters relating to new hires, transfers, and terminations of employees and with respect to temporary and contract labor, including background check process.
- Advise HR team on management of contingent labor and independent contractor programs.
- Advise HR team of new laws, pending legislation or other compliance matters as they arise.
- Mergers & acquisitions experience, including transaction diligence and employee integration.
- Litigation support, including handling all labor and employment disputes that arise company-wide and in multiple jurisdictions, including EEOC complaints, wage and hour disputes, FMLA/ADA matters, and wrongful termination.
- Consult with other members of the legal team on employment, labor, and compliance matters as they arise.
- Manage matters related to offshore labor and visas.
Required Qualifications
- Years of Applicable Experience: 10 or more years
- Education: Juris Doctorate (Required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Skills: Experience providing employment advices & counsel for white collar workforces
- Education: JD with strong academic credentials

Compensation and Benefits
