Senior Corporate Counsel, ASCS Legal

About the role

Amazon's Legal Department is seeking a seasoned attorney to lead product legal for Amazon Supply Chain Services. This role involves building and growing a logistics business that integrates Amazon's diverse shipping and distribution services.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of attorneys and legal professionals supporting Amazon Supply Chain Services.
• Provide strategic legal guidance to senior business leaders while balancing speed with sound legal judgment in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving environment.
• Provide product counseling and day-to-day legal support across the ASCS portfolio.
• Advisory on AI compliance and responsible deployment of AI-driven logistics products.
• Counsel cross-functional stakeholders across operations, product, finance, and public policy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of post-bar admission legal experience.
• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.
• Experience managing legal teams.
• Experience working closely with and advising senior executives of an organization or equivalent.
• Experience working independently and directly with all levels of legal and business partners or equivalent.
• Experience in technology and commercial transactions or businesses.
• A mix of corporate law firm and in-house work experience preferred.
