Senior Accountant Ledgent Finance & AccountingLedgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a growing manufacturing and technology-driven organization to identify a Senior Accountant. This position offers exposure to financial reporting, operational accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsSupport month-end and year-end close processesAnalyze financial results and investigate variancesAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reportingPerform account analyses and provide management reportingPartner with operations and business leaders to support decision-makingAssist with audit requests and accounting researchIdentify process improvement opportunities and drive efficienciesPrepare ad hoc financial analyses and reporting Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of progressive accounting experienceCPA preferredBig 4 or public accounting experience preferredManufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reportingAdvanced Excel skills requiredExperience with ERP systems and financial reporting toolsStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation with a blend of public accounting and manufacturing experience. This individual will be comfortable managing month-end close activities, analyzing financial data, supporting operational leaders, and contributing to process improvements in a dynamic growth environment.
