Senior Copywriter

About the role

The Senior Copywriter (Sr. CW) at NEON works collaboratively with brand copy teams and is responsible for researching, creating, and writing copy that properly reflects the client's strategy. They support the generation of unique and innovative materials for brand(s)/client(s), developing text from draft stage through final copy. They also collaborate with Art and Editorial teams as needed to ensure content is accurate and displayed correctly. They start to demonstrate management skills through mentorship and training of junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Copies in a clear and concise manner while maintaining quality control, proper grammar, agency process, client referencing, and legal requirements.
• Collaborates and communicates with team members in a productive manner to ensure goals are met and to attain/maintain creative vision outlined for the agency.
• Demonstrates knowledge of marketing plans including objectives and strategies and how success will be measured.
• Maintains timely and detail-oriented and accurate approaches to administrative duties.

Requirements

Portfolio of work demonstrating strong and consistent writing ability required. Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams). Strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Marketing/Advertising Business experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred.

Skills

• Understanding of market access channels (e.g. health plans, health systems, GPO, PBMs, LTC).
• Broad understanding of stakeholders and develop content that is appropriate and targeted for each stakeholder.
• Basic understanding of brand(s) value story and key supporting data (clinical and economic).
• Ability to play a role in market research (e.g. steering committees, advisory boards and other strategic workshops).
