SENIOR COOK (FULL TIME)

About the role

Morrison Living is hiring immediate full-time SENIOR COOK positions in the Rivertown Neighborhood at 250 McDougal, Detroit, MI 48207. The schedule is full-time, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, rotating weekends and holidays. Further details will be provided during the interview.

Responsibilities

• May oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by the Food Service Director.
• Prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operates and cleans equipment after each use.
• Schedules routine cleaning.
• Stores, labels, and dates food items according to policy.
• Helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated/frozen products.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Complies with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Aids in maintaining accurate daily production records and completing required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
• Assists in cross-training employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Prior high-volume production experience is preferred.
