SENIOR COOK (FULL TIME)

About the role

Flik Hospitality Group is seeking a full-time SENIOR COOK at FM Cafe located at 1165 Boston Providence Highway, Norwood, MA 02062. Online applications are accepted only. The position operates on a full-time schedule from Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. A bonus is offered to internal employees who refer qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• May oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by the Food Service Director.
• Prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operates and cleans equipment after each use.
• Performs scheduled routine cleaning.
• Stores, labels, and dates food items according to policy.
• Helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated/frozen products.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Complies with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Aids in maintaining accurate daily production records and completing required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
• Assists in cross-training employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Previous large batch cooking experience is required. Time management skills are preferred.

Pay

$24.00 per hour to $25.00 per hour.
