Senior Cook (Back of House)

What You Get To Do

• Cook and prepare food for special events.
• Adjust food quantities based on park guest attendance.
• Represent the company with a positive attitude and high energy.
• Assist in leading the team during daily operations and special events.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
• Bake, roast, broil, and steam various foods.
• Add seasoning to foods during cooking.
• Monitor and adjust thermostat controls to maintain proper temperatures.
• Portion food onto serving plates and add necessary garnishes.
• Ensure excellent customer service by fulfilling orders and addressing customer needs.

What It Takes To Succeed

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to lift and move up to 55 pounds.
• Able to stand for extended periods in hot and/or cold environments.
• Able to use hands and fingers, reach, handle, feel, stoop, crawl, or kneel.
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors, including sunny, wet, and humid conditions.
• Able to interact positively with park guests and coworkers from diverse backgrounds.
• Able to pass relevant food handler exams.
• Culinary certificate preferred.

Availability: Up to 29 hours per week, 3-4 days a week, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, late evenings, and night shifts.

Compensation: $14.00 per hour.
