Develop & Implement PLC and Multi-Axis Motion Control Programs

Create clear documentation to support assembly, testing, debugging, and long-term servicing of equipment.

Collaborate cross-functionally with automation, electrical, and mechanical engineers, as well as sales teams and customers, to fully define project scope and requirements.

Evaluate and recommend hardware and software components that best fit each project's needs.

Troubleshoot & Optimize Complex Automation Systems

• Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years in controls engineering with a focus on motion control and high-speed automated machinery.
• Proven experience in multi-axis motion control programming.
• Skilled in structured text programming.
• Hands-on experience with B&R Automation Studio (required).
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley CompactLogix and ControlLogix PLCs (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols: OPC-UA, Powerlink, Ethernet/IP.
• HMI programming experience (required), ideally with B&R mappView and Allen Bradley FactoryTalk SE/ME.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex automation issues.
• SQL database experience (plus).
• SCADA / MES experience (plus).

• Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000.
