Senior Controls Engineer - Little Rock, AR

Location: Little Rock, AR – relocation assistance to Mississippi provided.

Join a rapidly growing manufacturing client and work with a strong group of engineering professionals in a fast-paced, challenging environment. In this role, you will support and continuously improve processes and controls to achieve business goals, serve as the technical expert for controls software management, troubleshoot controls issues, and maintain back-up programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide programming and engineering support for basic troubleshooting of machines within assembly and test operations.
• Manage future product line strategy from a controls standpoint.
• Support the enhancement of controls system operations.
• Deliver control systems engineering work packages across multiple projects.
• Coordinate work with design team members (engineers, manufacturing, contractors).
• Train machinery, operations, programming, preventive maintenance, and production personnel.
• Support overall cost-reduction initiatives.
• Apply basic knowledge of SPC, CAD, PLC programming, and robotics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controls position.
• Working knowledge of robotics.
• Experience with machine design, specification, and programming.
• PLC programming experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of auto industry standards (SORs, APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEAs, flow charts, TS-16949).

Pay

$110,000 – $120,000 per year plus bonus.
