Senior Controls Engineer

About the role

The Senior Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems in various industrial settings. They work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement control systems for manufacturing processes
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project managers to resolve technical issues
• Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced team members
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in control systems engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in controls engineering
• Proficient in automation software such as Siemens SIMATIC, Rockwell Automation, and Allen Bradley
• Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations relevant to control systems
• Experience with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems
• Hands-on experience with data analysis tools
