Senior Controls Engineer

What You’ll Do

• Analyses BESS, Controls, and SCADA products or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.
• Analyzes engineering proposals, process requirements, and related technical data pertaining to BESS, Controls, and SCADA and equipment design.
• Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Examples include AutoCAD, ETAP, ACSELERATOR, etc.
• Determines feasibility of designing new applications considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning, and other technical and economic factors.
• Provides technical information concerning applications, materials, properties, and process advantages and limitations which affect planning.
• Collates and analyzes operational, test, and research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment.
• Performs field commissioning, testing, and integration of controls and SCADA systems.
• Studies engineering and technical publications to keep abreast of technical changes and developments in industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering field (ABET accredited or approved equivalent) such as Electrical or others with energy industry work experience.
• Resourceful problem solver with proven experience collaborating with various stakeholders to reach successful project outcomes.
• 6+ years relevant experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in energy field and excellent analytical and decision-making skills and ability to articulate.
• Availability to travel to support business needs and for training and in possession of valid local driving license as per the need of the business.
