Responsibilities
- Oversee capital projects from initial planning and design through equipment installation, commissioning, and startup, including automation upgrades, electrical system modifications, and process control improvements
- Lead the design, programming, integration, and troubleshooting of PLC and HMI systems using Rockwell Automation Platforms (Allen Bradley)
- Develop electrical schematics and controls, modernize legacy equipment, and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards
- Based out of the Mebane, NC facility with eventual 20%–30% travel to three other facilities
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience
- Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC/HMI platforms (Allen Bradley, Drive Executive, Ultraware)
- Hands-on experience handling electrical scope on capital projects
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- BS degree preferred
