Responsibilities
- Serve as a contracts advisor to government customers, communicating contract policy and practice.
- Aid in contract strategy development.
- Closely coordinate with critical stakeholders, driving alignment and collaboration with the Project Office, Contracting Officer's Representative, Administrative Contracting Officer, and the Army Contracting Command.
- Analyze contract issues and coordinate recommended solutions.
- Manage the full life cycle of complex contract modifications, ensuring seamless execution from initial requirement through final execution.
- Assist in the development and coordination of Contracts Requirements Packages (CRP).
- Organize and coordinate with technical and configuration management personnel to prepare Statements of Work (SOW) for new and existing contracts.
- Prepare Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) memorandums and submit to Army Contracting Command (ACC) via the Paperless Contract File (PCF).
- Maintain a detail-oriented approach, ensuring that no contractual requirement slips through.
- Ensure contract reviews, approvals, and execution occur in accordance with US Government regulations and contracting guidelines.
Requirements
- BA or BS degree.
- 10 years of related experience.
- Major capability acquisition / weapon systems program experience.
- Government contracting experience.
- Ability to work with Integrated Product Teams.
- Must have an in-scope security clearance.
Qualifications
Desired: Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracting experience.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills, time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks based upon customer guidance, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
