About the role
The position requires knowledge of the government contracts field and will involve conducting the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of government contracts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of government contracts to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Negotiate and administer various contracts to include Cost Reimbursable (CR), Time and Materials (T&M), Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and multiple Task Order contracts development;
- Prepare, negotiate, and administer teaming agreements and proprietary information agreements;
- Collect and submit data for regulatory reporting;
- Manage OCI Plans;
- Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, and conformance to master agreements;
- Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions;
- Represent the organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects;
- Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations;
- Develop solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation;
- Ensure solutions are consistent with organizational objectives;
- Support commercial work as well as complex efforts including Firm Fixed Price (FFP) defined delivery efforts;
- Provide mentorship to contract team members.
Qualifications
- Must currently hold a TS/SCI with Poly Clearance;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline and minimum fifteen (15) years experience, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience;
- Cost proposal experience is required;
- Thorough understanding and wide application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards in contract administration;
- Full knowledge of industry practices;
- Expert knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts, including FAR, DFARS, TINA and CASE;
- Effective administrative and organizational skills;
- Effective communication skills;
- Effective critical thinking skills and ability to assimilate.
Pay
Target salary range $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
