Senior Contracts Manager - Maritime & Strategic Systems Business Area

Basic Qualifications

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations.

Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Advises leadership and other functions on contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.
• Supports proposal activities, risk management, and contract changes for major programs.
• Leads contract negotiations, reviews, and compliance while protecting the company’s interests.
• Manage and mentor a team of contracts professionals, fostering growth and excellence.
• Leverage technology, including AI, to enhance efficiency and consistency in contract management.

Qualifications

• Expertise: Deep knowledge of contract law, FAR/DFARS regulations, and federal procurement practices.
• Self-motivated to stay abreast of the evolving Government acquisition landscape.
• Experience: 10+ years of contract management experience (or 8+ years with a Master’s degree).
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage and develop teams, set objectives, and drive results.
• Skills: Strong decision-making, negotiation, and communication skills, with a strategic and solution-oriented mindset.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and adept at leveraging technology for business needs.

Benefits

Target salary range: USD $209,578.00/Yr. - USD $215,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
