Accountabilities
- Manage a portfolio of operational, strategic, market research, and data management consulting engagements.
- Act as the primary client-facing consultant, building trusted relationships with stakeholders ranging from executive leadership to plant-floor teams.
- Conduct on-site assessments, workshops, and strategic sessions to identify opportunities and support successful implementation.
- Analyze operational challenges, develop improvement plans, and drive initiatives that enhance performance and sustainability.
- Apply data-driven problem-solving methodologies to evaluate issues and develop actionable recommendations.
- Present findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership teams and boards of directors.
- Support clients with strategic planning, execution, measurement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to business growth by strengthening existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
- Mentor and coach associates and clients to support capability development and organizational improvement.
- Travel regularly to client locations, approximately 75% of the time, to support in-person consulting engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations and/or strategic consulting environments.
- Experience applying lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Quick Changeover, Standard Work, and related practices is preferred.
- Strong research, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Ability to quickly assess business situations, extract relevant information, and develop creative problem-solving approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, and influence others.
- Comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and taking ownership of projects and schedules.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively for client engagements.
