About the role
The Senior Content Producer is a core leader on the Content Strategist track, blending content strategy, multimedia production, and on-camera presence to shape high-impact, omnichannel content that clinicians trust.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine the content roadmap for your assigned therapeutic area, identifying content pillars, unmet educational needs, and opportunities for strategic growth.
- Monitor clinical pipelines, guideline shifts, FDA actions, and emerging data to drive timely, relevant content decisions.
- Build, manage, and deepen relationships with top-tier KOLs, clinical trial investigators, and society leaders.
- Shape repeatable, scalable content models that leverage ongoing faculty participation and anchor brand credibility.
- Concept, script, and lead high-visibility content programs—including premium video series, expert panels, and editorially independent franchise content.
- Ensure scientific accuracy, strong editorial framing, and strategic alignment across all programs.
- Serve as the on-camera host and public-facing representative for recorded and live media appearances.
- Lead on-site congress coverage, coordinating KOL engagements and producing premium multimedia and post-event reporting.
- Coach and review work from Content Producers and Content Associates, providing direction, quality control, and development feedback.
- Oversee discussion guides, video outlines, and digital content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Oversee the voice, tone, and content mix for your assigned brand’s website, newsletters, and social channels.
- Lead quarterly audits and strategic content planning to ensure a cohesive, clinician-centered experience.
- Identify evergreen and topical content opportunities grounded in therapeutic relevance.
- Partner with Business Development and Marketing teams to shape strategic pitches and identify white space opportunities.
- Align content excellence with commercial needs while upholding editorial integrity and clinician trust.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or comparable experience in a medical, scientific, or health communications field strongly preferred.
- 4–6 years of experience in medical communications, scientific journalism, health care media, or related fields.
- Prior experience working closely with KOLs and representing a brand externally.
- Strong scientific acumen with ability to interpret and synthesize complex clinical data.
- On-camera confidence and expert interviewing skills.
- Advanced writing, editing, and framing abilities, especially for clinical narratives and discussion guides.
- Proven track record of KOL stewardship and faculty management.
- Skill in coaching junior producers and ensuring quality control.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with design, marketing, sales, and BD.
- Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
