Senior Analyst, Financial Close

Location

Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Office options include Hybrid or Remote. Team members residing within a 45-minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office are expected to work 8 days per month, offering flexibility for client meetings, team syncs, and individual schedules. Travel expectations are up to 40%.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with project teams to design and implement improvements to financial workflows and reporting structures.
• Aid in managing project activities, ensuring alignment with client goals and timelines.
• Become a subject matter expert in financial close processes and BlackLine implementations, focusing on areas such as account reconciliations, manual and automated journal entries, consolidations, flux analysis, intercompany, and financial/management reporting.
• Work closely with client teams to define business requirements and solutions, identify process optimization areas, and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Lead or participate in client-facing workshops and meetings.
• Create and deploy digital dashboards to understand client processes and provide key insights into transformation opportunities.

What You'll Bring

• At least 3 years of experience working with BlackLine or financial close process areas.
• Advanced skills in data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on process optimization.
• Proficiency in financial systems, including Salesforce and other relevant applications.
• Experience supporting transformation projects and collaborating across teams.
• Understanding of project management and change management principles.

Compensation Range

The compensation range for this position is $84,000-$110,000. Final salary placement will be based on factors including expertise, relevant work experience, technology certifications, educational background, geography, and alignment with industry standards. This role is eligible for the company's bonus program.
