About the role
FTI Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Trade Services Specialist with 4+ years of hands-on trade compliance and international trade experience to support the delivery of Trade Services engagements. The Senior Trade Services Specialist is a hands-on trade compliance practitioner responsible for executing client work and delivering accurate, timely, and well-documented trade compliance services. The role will perform detailed activities across areas such as customs, tariff classification, valuation, country of origin, tariff mitigation, Foreign-Trade Zones (FTZs), duty drawback, import operations, and related compliance requirements. The successful candidate will work independently on assigned activities, manage multiple priorities, analyze trade data and documentation, prepare workpapers and deliverables, and execute operational activities supporting client trade compliance programs and managed services. This is an execution-focused role rather than a strategy, advisory, or engagement leadership role. The Senior Trade Services Specialist is expected to perform assigned activities independently, resolve routine issues, and escalate matters requiring additional technical or engagement-level review.
