Senior Consultant, Supply Chain Planning
About the role
GAINS is dedicated to making supply chains smarter, faster, and self-improving through AI. The Senior Consultant plays a crucial role in delivering impactful solutions to clients, ranging from optimization initiatives to full-scale implementations.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end deployments of the GAINS platform, ensuring timely and successful implementations with measurable business impact.
- Work closely with client stakeholders at all levels to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Leverage AI-powered analytics and tools to accelerate diagnostics, surface recommendations, and enhance client deliverables.
- Collaborate with Customer Support and Customer Success teams to resolve complex issues and ensure exceptional client outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of GAINS delivery methodologies, sharing best practices and building repeatable frameworks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in supply chain consulting, operations, or enterprise software implementation.
- Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets; hands-on proficiency with SQL and Excel required.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, comfortable turning ambiguous data into clear recommendations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to present confidently to both operational teams and C-suite executives.
- Adaptability and resilience in fast-moving client environments; thrives under ambiguity and drives clarity.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Preferred
- Experience with AI/LLM-based tools applied to analytics, forecasting, or supply chain decision support.
- Familiarity with supply chain planning concepts such as demand planning, inventory optimization, lead time management, or S&OP.
- Prior experience with supply chain planning software platforms (e.g., GAINS, Kinaxis, o9, Blue Yonder, Relex).
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.
Benefits
The pay range for this position (Consultant or Senior Consultant) is $95,000 - $150,000; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including but not limited to: the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision), 401(k), holiday pay, flexible time off, and more. This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
