About the role

As a Senior Consultant specialising in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), you will lead the front-end design and visualisation components of People Intelligence projects. You will work with SAP SuccessFactors data (via SAP Datasphere), creating intuitive, visually compelling dashboards and applications that help business and HR leaders make informed, data-driven decisions. You will contribute to pre-sales activities, collaborate with clients to understand business questions, and work with data and strategy consultants to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and configure interactive dashboards and analytical applications in SAP Analytics Cloud for HR and business stakeholders.
  • Deliver SAC content for a variety of use cases, including:
    • Executive dashboards
    • Line manager reporting
    • Strategic workforce planning
    • People analytics (e.g. attrition, DEI, performance)
  • Configure SAC models using the SAC Modeller and connect to data models in SAP Datasphere.
  • Work with Datasphere consultants to ensure semantic alignment, performance, and data consistency.
  • Translate HR and business requirements into meaningful and visually accessible dashboard stories.
  • Apply visualisation best practices in layout, usability, interactivity, accessibility, and design thinking.
  • Contribute to pre-sales engagements, providing technical insight and demonstrating SAC capabilities to prospective clients.
  • Participate in the development of internal accelerators, templates, demo packs, and delivery documentation.
  • Support marketing and thought leadership activities such as webinars, blogs, and event participation, as needed.

SAP Analytics Cloud and Data Ecosystem

SAP Analytics Cloud will be layered primarily on top of SAP Datasphere and will visualise data from systems such as SAP SuccessFactors. The consultant will use both Stories and Analytic Applications, depending on project requirements. They will configure SAC models, connect to live or imported data sources, and guide on role-based access and dashboard governance. Familiarity with SAC Planning is not required but would be considered a strong advantage. The consultant is not expected to work on backend modelling but may collaborate with those who do.

Decision-Making Responsibilities

  • Make design and configuration decisions that shape the quality, usability, and impact of SAC dashboards.
  • Determine how to structure and present data in ways that align with business needs and visual best practices.
  • Select appropriate tools and visual elements to deliver compelling, scalable reporting experiences.
  • Advise clients and colleagues on SAC features, limitations, trade-offs, and optimal solutions.
  • Manage your own workload, communication, and delivery plans within a remote, fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Contribute to internal decisions regarding visual frameworks, delivery playbooks, and reusable SAC assets.
  • Own the quality and impact of the SAC workstream within multi-disciplinary teams, though not responsible for entire project or client relationship management.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud, including SAC Modeller, Story design, and Analytic Applications.
  • Strong ability to translate data into insights using visual storytelling techniques tailored for HR and business users.
  • Deep understanding of HR metrics and people analytics, including experience designing dashboards that address business and workforce questions.
  • At least 8 years of experience in people analytics, with a minimum of 5 years in SAP Analytics Cloud and consulting.
  • SAP Analytics Cloud certification is required.
  • Experience working remotely and autonomously, with strong communication, time management, and self-direction skills.
  • Strong consulting soft skills, including:
    • Working collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams
    • Managing scope, expectations, and timelines
    • Presenting insights clearly and credibly to clients

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with data from SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Datasphere, or Qualtrics.
  • Familiarity with SAC Planning or Performance Optimisation.
  • Understanding of role-based access and SAC dashboard security.
  • Contributions to internal tooling (e.g. templates, documentation, frameworks).
  • Participation in thought leadership (e.g. webinars, blogs, events).

Team and Working Model

  • Reports to the Services Director.
  • No direct line management responsibilities initially.
  • Fully remote role, aligned to customer delivery across North America and Northern/Western Europe.
  • Full-time hours with flexibility required to collaborate across time zones.
  • Occasional travel for team or client engagements may be required.
  • Permanent position supporting long-term growth in People Intelligence solutions.
