People Duties and Responsibilities
- Creates a positive team member experience.

- Client relationship and business development responsibilities.
- May work more independently and autonomously with contractors, owners, and regulators on projects.
- Documentation and expert advice to all levels of the process, creating a client facing partnership with key regulators.
- Client Increased public-facing representative of Ryan.
- Works with project design teams to approve work necessary to meet preservation standard.
- Values Higher degree of expertise in all phases of the historic preservation certification process.
- Oversees the completion of the regulatory filings and amendments as required.
- Consultative and persuasive with extensive knowledge of the historic preservation process.
- Reads and comprehends architectural plans as they pertain to the historic preservation process.
- Reviews compliance with state and federal regulations to ensure projects are meet the SOI Standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with strong writing and research capabilities (in History, Architectural History, Historical Preservation or equivalent preferred).
- Minimum two-three years of experience with historic tax credit application projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally, and write persuasive technical arguments.
- Work experience in comparable federal, state, or local preservation programs is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and initiative working in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to conduct research both online and in archives.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment.
Skills
- Technical proficiency in Creative Cloud suite (especially InDesign) to layup photos, create maps, and photo keys.

Pay
- Base salary range for this position is $66,000 - $86,900 for Massachusetts based roles.
- Base salary range for this position is $64,000 - $83,600 for other Massachusetts based roles.
Schedule
- Independent travel requirement: 20 to 30%.
