Job Responsibilities

  • Work directly with clients to support their equity plan management, auditor, and participant needs, including reporting, reconciliation.
  • Lead system implementation and private-public conversions.
  • Serve as primary client contact and quickly assume ownership for the client relationship and its specific needs.
  • Maintain active communication with clients to manage project and budget expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively.
  • Use and implement various equity administration software packages on behalf of our clients, including Carta, Shareworks, Certent, Fidelity and Equity Edge Online.
  • Support clients in their equity accounting data needs, assisting Armanino professionals responsible for stock-based compensation reporting and valuations of warrants, modifications, performance awards, tender offers, and EPS.
  • Provide value-added recommendations to our clients on business and process improvement.
  • Provide updates to supervisors regarding progress and issues that may affect timely completion of assigned tasks within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Stock Plan Administrator at a public company or equity administration vendor.
  • Completion of one or two levels with the intent to become CEP certified.
  • Experience or exposure to equity administration platforms such as Equity Edge Online/Shareworks, Carta, Certent, Fidelity, or similar systems.
  • Ability to quickly absorb and implement complex requirements while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and detail-oriented skill set.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Flexibility to work from home while collaborating in person half the time.

Preferred

  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP).
  • Stock option accounting, valuation, or broader equity accounting experience.

Pay and Benefits

$79,000 - $125,000 for Colorado residents
$96,000 - $137,000 for Illinois residents, Washington residents, New York residents, and Southern California residents
$100,000 - $144,000 for Northern California residents

Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
