Senior Consultant | Container Platform | Kubernetes

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Senior Consultant specializing in Container Platform | Kubernetes with a focus on DevSecOps and Site Reliability Engineering. This is a full onsite position based in Charlotte, NC or Detroit, MI. The client will consider candidates willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Lead SRE/DevOps initiatives for containerized platforms
• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure (ECS, EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM)
• Implement and maintain observability solutions using Dynatrace, Splunk, and Grafana
• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Manage container orchestration with Docker, EKS, and ECS
• Create automation scripts using Python and Bash
• Apply AI tooling and LLM knowledge to improve operational efficiency
• Lead incident management processes and responses
• Establish and maintain SLO/SLI governance

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps roles
• Strong expertise in AWS services (ECS, EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM)
• Proven experience with observability tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana)
• Hands-on experience with Terraform infrastructure as code
• Expertise in container technologies: Docker, EKS, and ECS
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
• Knowledge of AI tooling and LLMs
• Experience with incident management and SLO/SLI governance
• Visa independent candidates only
