Our Banking practice is a growing team that focuses on business and technology projects across areas like commercial lending, treasury management, mergers and acquisitions, and risk/regulatory compliance. We assist clients by developing operating models and cost optimization strategies, implementing technology, platforms, data and analytics tools, and supporting related change management. The role involves applying knowledge and experience to tailor solutions, helping clients gain competitive advantage. Responsibilities
- Apply expertise to tailor solutions for financial services clients, focusing on commercial lending, treasury management, mergers and acquisitions, and risk/regulatory compliance.
- Develop operating models and cost optimization strategies.
- Implement technology, platforms, data and analytics tools, and support change management.
- Solve key problems for business and technology executives in the financial services industry.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice growth.
- Lead or manage the work of others, including estimating project work effort, cost, and mitigating risks.
- Support financial services firms through transformational change initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions, core conversions, and system implementations.
Requirements
- Industry experience in one or more of the following segments: Commercial Lending, Treasury Management.
- Experience working as a consultant or banker with the top 25 banks and large regional banks.
- Solutions experience in one or more of the following Commercial Banking/Treasury Management areas:
- Business Process Optimization
- Credit & Portfolio Analytics
- Commercial Lending Sales Process
- Loan Origination Systems
- Loan Servicing
- Risk Management
- Treasury Management Sales and Service
- Treasury Management Implementation/Operations
- Experience with one or more of the following competencies:

- Experience with industry-leading Commercial Loan Origination Systems (LOS) including nCino, Moody’s CreditLens, Baker Hill NextGen, and/or Sageworks (desired).
- Experience with industry-leading Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems including Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics (desired).
- Commercial credit qualification or commercial credit training (desired).
- Experience supporting financial services firms through transformational change initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, core conversions, and/or ancillary system implementations.
- Experience with emerging technologies related to data, AI, and machine learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- At least 3-5+ combined years of Financial Services industry and professional services consulting experience, including client delivery.
- Commercial Lending experience within the Financial Services industry (desired).
- Strong quantitative analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Strong communication skills to work with client representatives at all levels.
- Experience managing or leading the work of others (required).
- Experience estimating project work effort, cost, and identifying and mitigating project risks, and managing project financials (desired).
- Experience effectively leading organizations or teams through change.
- Recent experience or proficiency with financial services industry projects (desired).
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit.
Pay
Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role varies by location:
- Seattle or Washington, D.C.: $121,800—$143,300 USD
- Los Angeles: $127,600—$150,200 USD
- New York City or San Francisco: $133,400—$157,000 USD
- A location not listed above: $116,000—$136,500 USD
