About the role

Collate large sums of data, analyze, and create solutions to client scenarios; prepare manuals and procedures for new processes implemented for a firm.

Reconcile multiple asset types covering quantity, market value, price, accrued interest.

Analyse and investigate any trade breaks between data sets across various reconciliations including tax lot, position, trial balance.

Review data sets and provide best practice solutions for client issues.

Identify discrepancies with existing business reports and models / offering solutions.

Maintain accurate records management, compile various data files from global clients and ensuring efficient filing process is in place to adhere to regulatory requirements.

Establish and maintain strong business relationships, servicing both existing and new clients, building rapport on a global scale.

Affirmation process for OTC Derivatives – validate on market vendor platforms to ensure no disparities.

Monitor trade activity, ensuring any trade breaks are escalated accordingly.

Stay abreast of regulatory environments including solutions for clients wishing to trade Equity Options, Energy Derivatives, alongside industry changes.

Confirmation process for OTC derivatives – via market vendor platforms, including DTCC, ICELink, Bloomberg.

Build tactical fixes / strategic solutions to client scenarios as required, be it a manual reconciliation tool or a Bloomberg interactive pricing sheet linking excel to Bloomberg.

Create high level project plans, ensuring accurate data points are captured with scope of project.

Prepare data files for loading, including manipulating data sets for configuration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance
• 2 years of relevant experience as Trade Support Manager using OTC Derivatives systems, energy derivative implementation, buy-side projects

Qualifications
