About the Role
An established global operations and supply chain consulting firm is investing aggressively in building an AI-native delivery model into every client engagement. They combine deep operational expertise with AI-powered platforms to turn complexity into prescriptive, measurable action, backed by a results-based fee guarantee. This role involves leading transformation engagements on plant floors, in distribution centers, and within client supply chains—not behind a screen.
Responsibilities
- Lead transformation engagements—own workstreams within large-scale operational transformations across procurement, logistics, and operations for CEOs and private equity-backed leadership teams.
- Diagnose and design—conduct hands-on assessments of supply chain networks, procurement functions, and operations to identify and prioritize high-value improvement opportunities.
- Implement on-site—design and implement improved processes, organizational structures, and performance systems, working directly on plant floors, in distribution centers, and at client operations centers.
- Direct AI-powered delivery—work alongside the firm's AI platform to turn operational data into prescriptive action, driving each recommendation through to measurable ROI.
- Build client capability—coach and influence client teams to adopt new ways of working, leaving lasting internal capability behind.
- Prove the result—establish and track the KPIs that demonstrate sustainable, quantifiable improvement.
- Grow the relationship—identify opportunities to extend engagements and support new business development.
Requirements
- 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations as a hands-on implementation consultant or as an internal operations leader who owned measurable results.
- A genuine track record of driving quantifiable outcomes (cost reduction, EBITDA improvement, cycle time, throughput, working capital).
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering, operations, supply chain, or business); advanced degree a plus.
- Real enthusiasm for applying AI and technology to operations problems—this is a role for an operator who wants AI as leverage, not an engineer who wants to build it.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and frontline teams alike.
- US Citizens or Valid US Green Card Holders.
