Artheon is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Inspector to join our team in Berlin, NJ. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of public projects within Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Salem, and Cumberland Counties.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of public projects, including roads, bridges, utilities, and other infrastructure, to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and regulations.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspection findings, including photographs, reports, and other relevant documentation. Prepare inspection reports for clients and regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify and address construction and design issues promptly, ensuring the quality and safety of the project.
  • Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure they adhere to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols, taking appropriate actions to address non-compliance.
  • Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, engineers, and regulatory agencies. Provide clear and concise updates on project progress, issues, and resolutions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in inspecting public infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges, and utilities, is required.
  • NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) Level III certification in a related field is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards, including relevant codes and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with project stakeholders and prepare detailed inspection reports.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Pay

$75,000 - $90,000 / year
