Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day on-site construction and systems integration activities from initial project kickoff through final closeout.
- Supervise and coordinate construction crews, subcontractors, and site personnel by assigning tasks and establishing performance expectations.
- Plan, optimize, and allocate project resources including labor, materials, heavy equipment, and external subcontractors.
- Develop, track, and maintain comprehensive project schedules utilizing Primavera P6, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
- Monitor field progress, identify potential operational risks, and proactively implement corrective actions to protect project scope and budget.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards, conduct regular site inspections, and verify strict compliance with building codes and industry regulations.
- Manage the design, development, and integration of systems architecture incorporating hardware, software, and networking components for transportation systems.
- Oversee integration testing, validation strategies, and interoperability protocols to verify full system functionality across all technical platforms.
- Collaborate closely with electrical, software, and mechanical engineering teams to align integration efforts with overall project goals.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, project managers, inspectors, senior leadership, and project stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including daily activity logs, budgets, RFIs, change orders, and regular progress reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Five to ten or more years of proven construction management experience, specifically including the supervision of large-scale or complex field operations.
- Demonstrated success managing project schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary subcontractor teams.
- Proficiency with enterprise-level construction management software and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
- Strong understanding of modern construction methods, local building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex blueprints, engineering schematics, and technical documents.
