Senior Construction & Projects Associate – Energy, Infrastructure & Real Estate

Position Overview

The successful candidate will manage high-value project development and construction transactions, draft and negotiate sophisticated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts, and oversee multi-site project rollouts. The role also involves client relationship management, training client teams on best practices, and supervising junior lawyers and staff.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant law firm experience
• Proven expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing large-scale design and construction contracts (US and cross-border), including projects valued over $50M
• Deep experience in the energy, mining, infrastructure, and commercial real estate sectors
• Strong background advising on claims, risk management, and contract standardization for multi-site and LatAm projects
• Excellent project management and leadership skills
• Admission to practice law in Illinois
